
This workshop goes through the standards-writing process from the initial review of the job description to the creation of measurable standards that meet the performance criteria. Techniques for including employees in the creation process will also be discussed.

- Determine the tasks that will be evaluated
- Create realistic performance standards
- Document the steps necessary to achieve those standards.
- Recognize accurately and objectively both positive and negative employee behavior
- Develop interpersonal skills necessary to conduct effective performance appraisals
